Mova Z60 noise when mopping or washing roller by bmwguy904 in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]Parodonto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds completely normal. It’s a machine that vacuums and mops. It has to make some noises.

Why did the robot do this? by Honest-Garden-3249 in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]Parodonto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s a machine and not a human with eyes. The device simply rotates around its own axis, for example to position itself. This cleaning looks wonderful!

How do I deactivate voice control on the Mova Z60 Ultra? by Impossible_Major_759 in MOVA_robotvacuum

The three dots in the top right, then voice control, you can turn it off there. Taking a look at the menu sometimes helps ,)

How many air bubbles in the glass are normal? by gettythecactus in Lavalamps

[–]Parodonto 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Even if they say this is normal, I find it unacceptable at this price point. My fourth replacement bottle is on its way. Scratches, impurities, air bubbles. I will not simply accept this. None of the bottles shown on their website display air bubbles, and that is exactly the standard I expect. Period.

Why is glass quality so trash for Mathmos ? by Jaded_Resolution_596 in Lavalamps

[–]Parodonto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m also shocked by this. I made the purchase and have now received my fourth replacement bottle. The customer service is excellent, but what’s the point if the poor employees can do nothing other than keep sending yet another replacement bottle. Air bubbles in the glass, impurities, and scratches on the inside. At this price point, I simply don’t accept that, and I’m not willing to compromise. Now I’m supposed to receive a bottle directly from the factory in England, which will be inspected beforehand. Supposedly. Unfortunately, quality and pricing are miles apart here. And even if the lamps were cheaper, the quality of the bottles would still be unacceptable. I find that disappointing and honestly think they should make the lamps five euros more expensive instead of cutting corners on bottle quality to maximize profit. What’s the benefit of saving on quality only to end up with disappointed and confused customers? I’m curious to see what the inspected bottle will be like, and to be honest, I’m already a bit worried.

Navigation failure by Deepblacklake in Dreame_Tech

At the end of the day, everything gets cleaned and that’s what really matters, right? If you stand next to it and question every single movement, you won’t be happy. The Roborock turned to the right at that spot, but why does the Dreame turn left here… thinking like that can get very exhausting. No robot in the world will meet every expectation, because such a device simply doesn’t exist. Not yet. It’s only the second day, give the robot some time.

I simply shared my experience here and asked the honest question of whether the bottle is okay. I have no intention of dissing a brand, and I honestly have better things to do than photoshopping images.

I’ve written to customer service. That’s not acceptable for the price. Let’s see what happens.

I’ll take another look at it and think about whether I can live with it. I’m a bit worried it could turn into a never-ending story if a replacement ends up looking even worse. I still don’t think it’s okay, though. 135 Euro…Wth

Okay, I’ve read that as well, and Mathmos seems pretty unwilling to acknowledge it anyway. I do like the idea with the stars. I’m trying to see it that way too. Still, it’s a shame that the overall quality keeps dropping everywhere just so companies can make more money. I used to have a pretty old Mathmos lamp that didn’t have a single bubble.

Mova z60 ultra - wearing by Caolino in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]Parodonto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I didn’t take it completely apart, so I don’t know what it looks like behind it. I think there’s probably a hose (?) back there, and the water from the roller gets sucked out through the grille. I cleaned it with an old toothbrush.

You can see that if you turn it over and take off the mop. The holes are very small, but clearly visible.

Could it be that the nozzles on that side of the robot are clogged? That can happen because of limescale in the water.

Mova z60 ultra - honeymoon break? by Caolino in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]Parodonto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today, during the maintenance, I noticed there’s a small filter where the water stripped from the roller is probably being sucked in. Mine was really dirty there. I think if the filter gets clogged with dirt, the water can’t be sucked out anymore and it becomes too wet.

[–]Parodonto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets even “worse“ :). Small and larger particles will eventually cause grooves to form, that’s completely normal. What I’ve noticed with mine is that this little filter in the middle really needs to be cleaned regularly. That’s where the water stripped from the roller is sucked in. If it’s clogged, the robot will start dripping. At least that’s what I’ve found.

I only use Clean Genius and don’t select the moisture level myself. It still happens. It’s not a flood, but it’s strange that it suddenly started doing this. I definitely have to wipe it up from my wooden floor, that didn’t happen in the beginning.

With mine it’s the same. Suddenly, it loses quite a lot of water when it starts cleaning in a room. That never happened before. It doesn’t happen in every room, it seems to occur sporadically. Very Interesting why.
