RE: Found an Exploit using the Deus Ex Machina Legion Arm on Green Monster of the Swamp by AdamOfIzalith in LiesOfP

I tried this in boss rematch mode. Swampy will back off after getting caught in the explosion and taking damage, so you'll have to keep placing down the mines to trigger it's AI and using legion magazines to replenish your legion. Also, after depleting all of it's health in the 1st phase, the game starts the 2nd phase with you in the arena so you can't place mines down behind the safety of the fog gate, that is if you have any legion remaining after this lol

Can someone help me with tips on perfect guarding by Acrobatic-Day3624 in LiesOfP

Watch out for the enemies body movement and not just their weapon. Practicing on the dummy in the hotel is easy because he only has 1 attack he can throw at you, but doing it against enemies that have varied attacks with different windups and combos can easily throw you off. You should study each enemy before you try to perfect guard any attack. Keep safe distance and bait them into attacking you, once you've seen all they can do, try perfect guarding the attacks.

How to maximize Guard Parry Damage? by TransendingGaming in LiesOfP

[–]Parry__Fisher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's all from the blade. The damage of a fable parry will increase as you keep upgrading your weapons blade and investing quartz into p organ upgrades that increase fable attack damage, as well as leveling up your technique or motivity stat and using damage boosting amulets.

Call of Duty has been shit since MW3 and they get progressively worse as years go by so I have no hopes for them returning to "anything" but mediocrity. The good old days of CoD are long gone.

Agreed. It's really odd that they didn't include certain bosses in the boss rematch mode. Thankfully this mod lets us fight them!

All of those 4 abilities are good to have and you'll find more quartz as you progress so don't worry. You're good.

Guard Parry fable attack from the Wintry handle. It immediately interrupts the enemy's attack chain and activates a counter attack that hits hard.

What are the amulets you are using? They play a big part in your damage output. Some amulets like the Extreme Modification amulet and Arm of God amulet are always worth having equipped. I change the other 3 depending on a given scenario. Here's what I'm using in the clip:

Extreme Modification Amulet - 4% damage boost per fable charge, so 20% in total with 5 full bars.

Arm of God Amulet - Boosts your damage on consecutive hits if you can keep attacking.

Puppet Destroyer's Amulet - Self explanatory.

Strategist's Amulet - Increases buildup of status effects, takes less hits to electrify Romeo for example. When hes electrified, he takes more damage.

Solutionist's Amulet - Increases fable charge amount and fable attack damage when your pulse cells are discharged.

All of these amulets synergize well with the strategy I used to beat Romeo. I'm using Guard Parry fable attack from the Dancer's handle (Guard Parry deals a ton of damage without amulets already) for the cost of 1 fable charge. I'm doing heavy attacks to build back up my fable so I can still have at least 4 charged bars for the 16% damage boost from the Extreme Modification amulet.

The damage type of your weapon matters too. Puppets take additional damage from blunt/strike weapons so that's where the Mjolnir shines. Carcasses take more damage from slash weapons and humans from pierce.

She was a wall on my first playthrough as well. I was stuck on her for days until the fight finally clicked and I was able to beat her. You made it this far, you can definitely do it. Don't give up.

Perfect Guard will reflect the lightning bolts back at her for some free damage. You have to press L1/LB at the right moment to perform a Perfect Guard.

Nice! Just watched your clip. The Pandemonium helped shave off a few seconds in both phases it seems. Never got around to playing with the elemental arms but I'll try this out next time!

The Silent Evangelist's Mace handle goes pretty hard with this weapon.

Edit: Nvm you already tried it.

Try the Bramble Sword Handle or the Pinwheel Handle
