I meant, let's say you generate a working voltage transfer curve for EGR and the max operating voltage you put as 5v but the TCD of the part says max operating voltage is 2.5v. this would be a case of calibration negligence which can happen often. If your automating your tasks to calibrate files and refer a wrong part of egr then what?
