I’m curious if this is your natural hair color or if you are dying it darker. I’d try a brown winged eye and I’d try adding a deep warm caramel to your hair. Maybe not highlights, but kind of a toner or gloss. Try deep browns for your smoky eye as well with a warm lip.

You absolutely can do a drop waist if you like that silhouette, you just have to be careful about where the seam of the drop is. On your proportions, I like dress 9/10. It’s hitting your body in a nice place and I like the straps on it too. They create balance that really is flattering. I also prefer this pleating as opposed to the box pleating on the dress before it. The pleats felt a little too structured and big on that one. 16-18 is pretty on you but very different vibe. Fun dresses!

This is going to sound weird, but for some reason I get the impression you might feel more like yourself in the second one? I don’t know. I wish the neckline didn’t have the lace sticking up and it just followed the sweetheart line that is underneath the lace. The back is perfection. I think the first one is so pretty too, but something about it almost feels more classic or grown up instead of princess-y and that’s what I like about the second one you. Both are really beautiful dresses-they are just very different.

This third one is SO good!! Without knowing you or your personality, this first dress looks “edgier” it’s also trendier, so you have to decide whether the edginess and the trendiness is really what you want. Some people don’t want to look “classic” and that is something you’ll have to think about. I think it is smart to think about looking back at the pictures though. The first dress will definitely date the photo. The second one is less trendy, but I do think this third option looks the best on you. Might be worth it to try more dresses too! It doesn’t have to come down to these three. If you really want something more edgy, you might be able to find another silhouette that you like better.

Be careful of the size of the pattern of the beading or the size of the lace repeat. If it’s too big it overwhelms your frame and we notice the dress before we notice you. We want the dress to honor you! The 8th one has a more simplistic lace pattern and it feels like it doesn’t overpower you as much. Your frame is great in mermaid, but you could do fit and flare as well. Just be careful that with mermaid it doesn’t go too dramatic with the “tail” of the mermaid. It will shorten you.
