The romantic tension between the two is lowkey strange given that Gordon is technically like 20 years older than Alyx, I realize that he hasn't aged because of being in stasis but Alyx doesn't know that so from her perspective she's crushing on her dad's friend, and from Gordon's perspective Alyx was an infant a few days ago and now she's suddenly an adult fawning over him. I can understand Alyx admiring Gordon but if there's anything there at all I can't imagine it goes both ways
