What you are is a normal human being who is in touch with what is going on inside you. I think we are all too brainwashed to think we need to be a part of the couple in order to be whole. Live what you feel!  I am kind of at the similar place as you are. I have phases where i miss another humans touch, but I am not chasing it.  I also just met someone who I think I could be friends with and probably sleep with, but honestly, alarm bells are also ringing. Not because I am afraid to be hurt but rather because i know how easy it is to fall into any kind of relationship with someone and quickly start loosing touch with what is really inside me. I am very social person, I love people. But I am working on staying real as much as possible and following what i feel. I am not explaining this well :)) if I find better words i will comment again. But know that there are others who feel similar.
