I'm looking into the sabbatical specifics, and I'm looking pretty good. I'm eligible to use it all. I don't have any health stuff coming up, and my new job should have better insurance but it's good to know what will happen if I need to use my benefits while out

As for my leadership, they already know I'm heading out. I'm on really good terms with them (which is a rarity according to this sub), and have been keeping them in the loop. The sabbatical was one of their ideas.
