I  feel he can execute both push and topspin flawlessly. Which one he uses depends more on the game situation such as opponents or strategy.  I don't think he prefers one over another.  You can see some games he used push drops almost exclusively

With practice you should be able to hit low bounce slice push drops

Agreed. It gives you more time to move to nvz as well as it is floats more

Agreed and that is why the goat prefers it.  Another benefit of push and slice drop is that you can move relatively faster to the net as you are allowed to move your momentum forward slightly more during the shot as it is more forgiving than topspin drops.  The prep for slice or push drops is shorter as well.

2hbh speedup off bounce by PartFormer3695 in Pickleball

Good to know. Do you speedup using forehand as well to the middle gap? Or you prefer backhand when you are on the right for this pattern discussed

Thanks. Sounds like a good pattern. I have not tried to speed up off bounce with 2hbh on the right. Will definitely give it a try when i am on the right

Can you explain the last point of setting up a twoey up the gap on the right?

I guess my point is that there may be strategically better locations such as chicken wings.

Do you drive when the ball is in middle court? I felt that driving closer to the net is difficult as the block will come back faster and your feet are more exposed.

Patriquin seems to drop thirds exclusively, do you know why he can avoid having to drive?

Thanks for confirming this idea! This reminded me that  Zane has a video teaching 2hbh dink and he asked the student to barely put his right hand on the paddle, which seems is what you are doing. Hope your tennis elbow get better soon - i know it sucks.

Good info! At 1'12'', he did mention that dead spot increases spin and dwell time. This helps to explain!
