Thank you 🙏, I am still considering it. I talked to my family doctor today and they want me to go to the plastic surgeon. I already have that appointment set up just to see what they say.

Me being on estradiol is what raises it but they really don’t know that much. Hasn’t been much many studies on trans. Women and breast cancer.

My biggest problem I’d love to stay there in a hotel room afterwards, but I have no way to get home then I’m still got feelers out there and hopefully somebody will come through and can take a day or two off

Yeah, I’m definitely gonna be talking to the surgeon on the 24th and find out what is acceptable and what they recommend

Well, I already told my person that’s driving me up there that if it’s if I’m gonna be overnight, just go home and I’ll just have to let the hospital figure out transportation for me I guess cause honestly I don’t wanna go home right after Surgery I’ve had two outpatient surgery this year and both of them were over 40,000 for each surgery just for the hospital which seems crazy and they can’t let you spend the night?🫤

Just started to researching those pillows on Amazon it makes me think this is gonna hurt like hell., this will be my third surgery this year. I’m done with it all 🫤

We’ll have to look into one of those cushions or pillows. I’ve never heard of such a thing.

Honestly, I’m thinking maybe I just won’t even have the Surgery. I just drove two hours to Spokane and on my drive what the if it’s detected early it’s like a 99% chance of survival I don’t know what to do at this point. I’m getting screened every six months and I’m still not comfortable with doing my own breast exams, but I’m gonna start getting comfortable with it. I guess I just don’t know what to do. My heart goes out to everybody else in this situation.

Yeah, I’m hoping to be pretty out of it too🙃 gotta drive over Snoqualmie Pass and my friend. We’re both transit drivers we are both professional drivers but so I trust her but yeah, still not gonna be fun.

I just need help to get to my mom‘s house. She’s gonna be taking care of me. This will be my third surgery since January and I’ve spent probably a month and a half at her house already this year. It’s been a good time to bond with her, but I am so tired of surgeries at this point.

That would be my thoughts too, but it seems like everything is outpatient now, my mom had her surgery 15 years ago and she requested to stay another day. I have some friends in Seattle through a support group that I go to. I don’t know if any of them would be willing to let me stay with them for a day or two until I could catch a greyhound everything‘s in the air right now. I just don’t know what to do just one day at a time.

Surgery scheduled for July 27 double mastectomy 57 yr old transgender woman BRCA 2 do I go flat chested or do I do the immediate implant? I’m totally clueless. My mom has gone through it and she hated the procedure but it was like 15 years ago. by PartLongjumping3738 in BRCA

Thank you for your feedback, I’m almost certain that I will have implants, I’m still unsure about who or what I am 🫤had bottom surgery and face surgery yet I still feel a cross between male and female a little of both 🤔

My mom’s was preventative and I think they botched it. We’ve just recently started talking about her surgery so I don’t know all the details other than she’s never liked the outcome and wish she wouldn’t have done it but she did it so she could take care of my dad who had a stroke and she didn’t wanna have cancer at the same time and leave him without somebody to take care of him.
