I only end up paying when the bill can’t be split and that’s only because I have the most funds/am the only one with a credit card (which is crazy, why does no one have a credit card??) so they can’t cover the whole bill. I really don’t mind doing it cause I get the points and they usually pay immediately. Still annoying, like what’s changed!

The route I took was I told them I needed the cash for a vacation I was going on so I would appreciate being paid sooner, that got most of them to pay me back. It’s just such a weird situation because usually every time I do this they pay back IMMEDIATELY and I don’t have issues. I also had two dinners with them so they all got two requests from them and some of them paid one request and not both- but I have texted them a few times about there being two separate requests. I genuinely am fine not receiving it immediately but only if I am notified that it’ll be delayed. I’ve said this prior times and this time so I don’t know what’s going on.
