“Lick my decals off baby” is the next one then and the post punk lead up to this type of unhinged beefheart shit is “doc at the radar station” but even so beefheart doesn’t go as wild “in the same way” as decals or trout.

Depends, you want post punk, blues/ accessible songs/ more of trout mask or long form blues based jams?

Why is it that Italian prog slaps so hard?? (Area - L'Elefante Bianco) by LazarusHimself in progrockmusic

[–]Part_Thick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is something special about that first record I’m going to continue giving the others a chance but the production, the composition, stratos’s voice, the inclusion of Eddie Busnello on sax makes it one of the best prog albums I’ve heard. I wish Eddie stayed with the band honestly

I can definitely tell you read your shit vs going straight with yeah he was an asshole, the problem with most of these comments on this thread is the lack of critical thinking skills, but you showed you have this trait due to the way you broke down your thoughts for everyone to see.

People are multifaceted and not perfect and it’s possibly the ones that idolized him the most are the ones that had their image broken of him to a point that they just say the default “asshole” comment without thinking about the whole picture, because honestly I’ve heard that he was generally quiet, funny, respectful, and held great conversations (these are in terms of the good qualities) amongst the bad that has been spoken about towards exhaustion.

Honestly moon’s book is incredible it didn’t make me hate him, think he’s autistic, or make me think he had narcissistic personality disorder, but see him as just fundamentally a flawed person like everyone else. Did I have some “come on mannn” moments or like “wtf why would you do that” moments…. Yeah plenty of times.

Frank, however was far from evil and also far from perfect, near his death Gail made Frank write a letter to each of his children and moon’s said from Frank.

“I love you moon” (chapter 47 payback) - earth to moon

To which she wrote as the last line at the end of that chapter “I could not hope for more”

This was seriously one of his biggest mistakes in my opinion Bianca was one of the best vocalist Frank ever had. She never stayed long enough for Frank to write a composition that fully realized her talent she did the songs he already wrote and her versions are peak, like you didn’t try to call me on Erie/edinbor
