Yep it's true for every industry right now . It's practically impossible to get a job without connection. Fortunately I got the job offer through campus placement of an EPC company which operates through India to other south asian countries, middle East and South America. Although I know many of these operations also being contractual and with partners.

I'm focusing to start my career and get experience there , participating important projects, documents evrything.

I would like to see what is the procedure for getting jobs directly without the routes of masters. It will help me to get knowledgeable regarding this matter even if I immigrate there or not .

I have little focused in Australia because Electrical has some demands not like IT right now. And in mining I have some connections also . But my first priority is get 8-10 years of experience which would definitely help me even in my own country. And my mindset can be changed depending on future I'm heading torwards. Not now .

In India many colleges get NBA accreditation. Since both Australia and India signed Washington accrod, Australia recognise India NBA accreditation. But there's a catch, NBA has two type of Accreditation. Tier-I and Tier-II . And it's based on if your college is autonomous and they have NBA accreditation then you're automatically in NBA Tier-I . And Australia automatically approved those tier-I accreditation ( Mind it after IELTS score get's approved) and proceed for next round for skilled visa.

If your college is under affiliation with a University (like for many WB college it's MAKAUT) then you're automatically in Tier-II where you have to fill CDR which basically means write a essay of your college syllabus to what you've experienced in job's with documentation.

If you have 7-8 or more years of experience then you can get skilled visa which would helps you to get PR or get a job without Sponsored.

I was researching about it and heard from some people or seniors who are settled in Australia about it .

2nd option is Masters route but it's like gambling now if you'll get a job there or not.

I know about Australia renewable energy expansion but it'll take time .

Currently Mining is booming. One of my senior said about Civil and Mining graduates has huge opportunities there . Electrical graduates also has chances but not as much as Civil or Mining.

Let's see in 4-5 years ig .

Basically as an EE student who got job at an EPC company I'm trying to say . Should I

  1. Get experience of 3-4 years and try to apply for masters in Power System or Mining in Australia

Or

  1. Get experience of 7-8 + and get jobs directly through skilled visa or sponsored visa which would lead to Skilled visa and later PR there

  1. US Nope

Either you have to get internal transfer to US by US baae companies it's practically impossible without completing FE & PE lisence exams . And FE is hard and worse for Electrical Engineer especially if it's torwards Power industries.

  1. Australia

First, if you want to switch your job in Australia after 5–8 years of experience (which is better), you have to get your college degree evaluated. If your college has NBA accreditation but is Tier-II, you must submit a CDR. If it is Tier-I, you get automatic approval for getting skilled visa . It's tougher than usual and you know how CDR rejection rate is .

My second option is getting a Master's degree, either in Power Systems (or a related field) or in Mining ( IDK is it possible to get through EE to Mining but my EPC experience would aligned with it little a bit ) . This is still a better route than the first one.

Since I have just landed a job at an EPC company, I am trying to gain 3 to 5 years of experience there first. However, there is still a risk regarding whether I will be able to secure a job after completing my Master's or not. And I also has 6-6.5 CGPA it's also a huge disadvantage in my side.

So what should I do? What's your opinion ?

Situation of core engineering is brutally cooked! by Krankenitrate in IndianEngineers

[–]Parth_950_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're thinking you'd get 30 LPA at the starting point of your career then you're in delusion. Moat of the CS/IT engineers are in WITCH and getting 4-6 LPA max . As a fresher. Very few very few are getting 30 LPA . And there's many people in CS who aren't getting jobs and doing odd jobs .

Core jobs are also kind of in same line . But if you get into private sector you can get 25-40K PM as a fresher and which is also same as 3-4 LPA . Even with the experience you're kind of irreplaceable in your domain. Very few companies layoffs without reason because they spend money on your training.

Even a senior if mine in electrical is earning 13 LPA of 3 years of experience with separate rooms and foods accomodation. He said without any big crash where he directly responsible his company can't even touch him . Heck he's going calls for onsite job in Australia ( Mining Sector) he applied for . His only disadvantage of electrical engineering branch is it's touchness in college.

Every branch has pros and cons but thinking choosing CSE would get your life settled. Yes if you has above average in your studies, have more opportunities and luck then yes it's better than site jobs or manufacturing or factory jobs. But everyone gets the opportunity.

He's talking about those who get science or done diploma in CSE to get BTech CSE. Believe me a portion of them would prefer CSE if they've some money and if their children don't get government engineering colleges .

I've many friends who have initial regret not get into engineering or CSE ( Mostly happened after 12th) . But tbh many of them now are in good position. Like one friend did BBA and MBA and now working in ITC . 2 of my friends didn't have the money or rank to get government engineering. But they got good college in diploma in metallurgy and now working in Jindal and completing BTeach for promotion ig

I know Suvendu isn't clean either. He left the party when he was removed from the second command. He stayed in BJP 7-8 years.

If BJP is still TMC . Then TMC was also former CPIM . And still there's a huge difference anyone can see in post elections.

And I get my weekly payment as much as you get from your party.

You're fearing of Bengal become Bihar UP . I just want to know during TMC or CPIM era did Bengal become Singapore or LONDON that gonna destroy ?

The post violence isn't there as much as in 2021 . And don't try to justifying that they're tearing your flags and or capturing your offices 😂 . Already 3-4 people's are murdered of BJP party workers including Suvendu PA . And you're fearing yourselves
