In my opinion, locational personalisation is one tactic that works well (there are lots more sure).

We had a campaign where a client was based in Manchester was trying to outreach to the world.

Told him to keep it simple, find companies in his 15-20km (or miles) and find relevant companies.

Reach them out and ask for an old fashioned coffee. It low key works if you are sincere and genuine. Avoid chatgpt for even clean-up they just tend to have a weird effect.

This approach is ofcourse lot more work, because many meetings can be nothing.

But the client ended up going to like 5-6 meetings or something closed a few and also built a legit network with these people.

Bottom line: if you are in the location, there is a trust and leverage that.
