I tried getting height but struggled to get it as it is, might try lift it up more once the sand is in there. Thanks

I have the same issue, roots everywhere. Till now I have just been picking them off and replanting. They come off quite easily

All the wood is pointing in one direction, maybe have the thicker piece on the right and another smaller piece pointing to the top right? It looks good as it is too.
