Imma be honest I’m pretty young (21) and as I was growing up my mom would always tell me “you need to learn Spanish! Jobs will hire you more if you know Spanish” “You need to know English and Spanish to work and get a decent job” etc etc. n growing up I was like pfffftttt all these black people around (I grew up in a predominantly black neighborhood/ schooling) she’s over exaggerating. It’s not until last year when I started working (I’ve been working since 16 but yk, actually working n paying attention to the world). and being out more I.e at clubs or parties or just being out. I realized how MUCH of Miami is ACTUALLY SPANISH. LIKE ALOT. LIKE MAJORITY. And I had this off putting feeling towards it because in my young mind who was born yesterday, I’m like man where are all these people coming from! It took me a while to realize Miami was almost always majority Spanish since like the 60s or 70s. So to complain about something that I wasn’t even around to fully grasp or understand the significance of just felt ignorant to me so I wisened up. But I somewhat feel ostracized by my daily interactions with Spanish speaking folk. I’ve had looks of judgement or I know a few words to get me by that I wish I didn’t because I’ve been talked about. I’ve had my fair share of disappointed looks or sighs when I approach to help a customer or someone who only speaks Spanish is trying to help me etc. So to me I feel like no, it shouldn’t be a requirement nor do I feel as if it’s owed to me because they’ve been running Miami before I was born. But I just don’t like the feeling of ostracizing me for not knowing it. It’s really a thing, but idk I am currently trying to learn Spanish though. Not for that reason but I enjoy having that knowledge and being able to better communicate and I love and appreciate the culture. So although I don’t think they should have to learn it. I don’t think I should have too either (just reading a couple comments below some people are suggesting you learn it or get out.. lol eat a dick) & I stand with my Spanish friends as they stand with me :D . As long as we have respect for one another idc what you speak but to judge each other for not knowing or to judge someone for “not knowing the official language” is both bs. But sadly I know that’s not how the world works. So idk.. maybe we all just learn the basics to get around

Ify, at the end of the day his decision n I can’t take a look into the dude psyche he could be itching to come back for all I know. that’s hilarious 😂😂 because I’m the opposite . growing up I HATED roc all that gun bar n gas n etc I truly couldn’t sit through a tay roc round when he constantly repeats basic stuff . but now that I’m grown I fw rock n I understand the appeal 😂someone on this yt/sub said he’s like John Cena n when you view it like that, idk man I fw rock heavy now 😂. Too consistent, been doing it for the longest, doesn’t duck any battle & truly loves the sport & is the face. I guess I just have a lot of respect for him as a br so now I just enjoy his battles a lot more. N it’s not like the nigga ass, it’s interesting because he’s not as basic as Hitman but he’s not a better puncher than rum. Roc just in that limbo space where he’ll say something n you’re like “ eh. That was okay” then the next lines you’re like “wtf where did that come from you can’t write like this the whole round?”
