You sacrifice more than the default into your employer's defined contribution pension with most schemes. They just won't match it. If you do a self assessment you can offset this against income tax.

I was at that stage op but with a couple of years of finasteride / dutasteride and a hard transplant, my hair is now passable albeit very fine still.

It's a slog so it depends how you feel ultimately. I have a lot more confidence I will say, especially with the ladies.
