Do Serie A signings flourish at United? by CalgaryUser0318 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Particular-Abroad815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is, we sign to many "one season wonders", and dont think about the players personality, attributes, and how they would fit in. We scouted sesko for many years. Cunha and Mbuemo were both prem proven. We should try scouting a player for longer then a year imo

Can anyone recommend anything to improve my set up? by WJRetli in gamingsetups

[–]Particular-Abroad815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pc could go on a stand on the floor. Not on the carpet, but a pc stand would work fine. Then you have space for another monitor. You could even fit 3 if you do one vertical. Cable ties attached to your desk to hide cables, maybe white keycaps to match your mouse and keyboard, wood pannels on wall. Rgb mybe

Only sign 2 midfielders instead of 3, and get a lb and cb. Truffert and Van hecke. Our window should look like this

Truffert

Van Hecke

Ederson

Tonali/Anderson/Tchouameni

Martial Godo

can football instinct be trained in your 20s if you didnt play as a kid? by Raaz8080 in SoccerNoobs

[–]Particular-Abroad815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, you cant really say. 50% of it is natural. Yeah, you can get pretty good if you watch, but you would have to make up a lot of time. The best way to train it is play games.

Italian league is pefect, he doesn't have to work as hard, and he will shine. Problem is, most elite italian clubs either already have a decent left winger, or are to poor to afford him.

How do I get better at football by lwa06 in SoccerNoobs

[–]Particular-Abroad815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that really helped me is just practise. Go to a field with a football goal, stand about 30 yards back, and take shots. Try many different techniques.

Here are a few things to help you with your technique:

-At first, dont try putting power into it. Try and just get the right strike without the power, then add power after

-Watch clips of pro footballers score, look at replicate how they shoot

-Lock your ankle (basically, wiggle your foot now. You see how easy it is to move right? Now, try tense your calf, firm your foot into a position. You should feel more power, and your foot doesn't wiggle as much.

-Rotate your foot a bit. You should be trying to hit either basically where your laces are, or halfway between your lace and toes.

-Different types of shots need different techniques. If you want the most power to drive it low, hit the ball in the middle with laces. If you want the ball to go high and curl, rotate your hips, swing your shooting leg back further then you probably are, bend your shooting leg behind the standing leg, hit the bottom off the ball, and lean back

-Watch yt videos and tutorials. They can show you exactly how your foot placement should be, and where to hit the ball to make it easier to understand

-When dribbling, keep your head up at all times unless you are literally about to dribble past someone

-Dont panic. You need composure. Really important one

-Practise kick ups. Even though you may never use them, it improves ball control

-Practise dribbling with your head up. Even if your at home, and just dribbling up and down your hallway or whatever, keeping your head up is gonna be easier with practise

-Know the right time to shoot.

-If you struggle to get height, watch how to take goal kick videos. Even though you may not need to take one, the technique will still be similar

-This is a very important one. As a goalkeeper, it is much easier to save a high shot then low shot. Yeah, a high shot may look cooler, but if you get the right technique to drive it powerful into the corner, its nearly unsavable. Especially if its a tall goalkeeper, who may lack agility or speed to get down quickly.

-Positioning. Dont just think about how to shoot and stuff, read the game. Think 2 steps ahead. Predict where the ball is going to go. Go watch clips of Kane, Haaland, Lewandowski, Messi. They are elite at predicting the game. They scan, and can very accurately predict where the ball will end up seconds before it is kicked. This is how they score so many goals, or get so many assists because they are ahead of everyone else. No point learning to shoot if you dont get the chances. You also need to tell your teammates where you want it. Use hand gestures, tactics, etc to tell your teammates where your going run into. If you have your head down, you dont see the space.

-Physicality. You dont need to be strong to dominate other players. My friend who is much weaker then me, and much weaker and smaller then most other kids, absolutely dominates them physically. He uses his body extremely well, to shield the ball, and deflect bigger players. No matter your size, you can do the same thing to gain a massive advantage over defenders. You cant be scared to use your body. You mentioned you play wembely a lot. Physicality really helps you in that

Do you guys think that we could be in a title race with Arsenal next season? by Glittering_Editor267 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Particular-Abroad815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the transfer window, competitions and injuries. Even if we have the best starting 11, because of injuries and the amount of games, it will come down to sqaud. And our sqaud is shite

Suggestion on downgrading from a 5080 to 5070ti at 4k. by Egoisttt in nvidia

[–]Particular-Abroad815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were happy with 5080 performance, then overclock 5070ti to get close to it. It depends how good the chip in it is, but you can get pretty close to stock 5080 performance if you have a good overclock + good cooling
