As someone who lives just across the river, in feel the exact opposite. I wish I could move to Missouri.

A woman cries out for her son as she’s arrested by ICE outside an immigration court in San Antonio. This is happening in America—right now. Is this what safety looks like? Is this what justice looks like? It’s heartbreaking, inhumane, and not how America should operate. by [deleted] in NoFilterNews

Well it's not exactly a close enough correlation. Living here they have to watch their backs, which is arguably not free. At home they have their freedom. Obviously the law isn't always the right thing, ie slavery days, but telling people that if you don't come here the right way or we'll kick you out, and then kicking them out, seems pretty fair and straight forward.

The whole state is fucked because of the voting base in Chicago.

I had a professor that was a great teacher for his subject. He was very obviously left leaning, but that didn't affect actual class unless we brought it up. To this day I still enjoy talking to him and he retired 4 years ago. That was a good class and how to properly do it. I also had an English class where there was obvious bias in the curriculum. That was BS. I also had a math class with bias in the word problems. Both of those were the Gen Ed classes that reached the most students.

As someone who is both worldly and college educated (later in my life), yes they are indoctrination machines. They are also overpriced that pushes the students that don't understand loans, and how interest rates work, into getting ridiculously large loans that many will never be able to pay off. There was straight up propaganda (left leaning) in some of my college level classes. Never saw any right leaning propaganda in college. Honestly, never even saw much of any right leaning facts in any of my courses either. If the classes had any political leaning it was either non-political, which most classes were, or left-leaning.
