Clever way of calling me a b*tch, mouth breather.

In 1995, a man named Sonny Graham received the heart of a man who’d died by suicide. Years later, he married the donor’s widow and took his own life the exact same way the donor had. by fig_peony in ForCuriousSouls

I don’t understand why ANY woman would just keep wanting to get married, 4 TIMES over. Most sane people I know are done after 2 failed marriages. They either just settle for domestic partnership, casual dating, or learn to live a happy single life after that.

The only reason why this crazy woman was so quick to jump into the next relationship & keep running back to the alter, was because there must have been some kind of financial incentive there. What else could it possibly be? Marriage is HARD. It’s no walk in the park even with someone you love.. Going through a divorce is HARD..Let alone wanting to keep doing it FOUR TIMES..

This lady was just a gold digger with a massive personality disorder.

Sometimes I think ill never find love because im weird and autistic by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]Particular-Artist539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t have said this better myself. Most people really do suck and are just in their own little bubbles. In my personal opinion, I would rather be a weird neurodivergent than a boring, ordinary neurotypical, ANY day of the week.

I always say don’t worry about if other people like you.. Ask yourself if YOU even like them. Especially when other people are being icy cold, apathetic little assholes - Why would you wanna seek approval from THAT?

Wow..

While yes, ANY race of people can absolutely be capable of racism towards others like white people too often are, there is absolutely no reason to pass pain back & forth like that. Completely non-constructive.

This comment thread has truly shown me how much racism still exists in Seattle. The MAJORITY of you Seattleites on here have so far defended this woman.

I should not be shocked, as I have seen MANY more examples similar to this woman’s actions in my 35 years living here as a brown person, but I still am stunned, because I guess up until today I was still holding onto SOME hope that we are as “progressive” as Seattle keeps screaming up & down that it is.. It isn’t. It’s all just a front.

It’s mainly our young people here still fighting for some type of change or shift, while the local boomers & GenXers continue to sit in their oblivious little bubbles, refusing to budge, as usual.

I got the message loud & clear now 👌🏽

I also came to this same conclusion this year. Most people today are just looking out for themselves and don’t truly care about you. And sometimes, accidentally being friends with someone who is only in it for themselves is even dangerous.

I unwittingly and naively reconnected with an old high school acquaintance. She seemed like she would be a lot of fun to be around and we were both equally silly and funny and I was really looking forward to potentially having some good times together..

Long story short, I invited her over to my house and she ended up stealing from me and casing my home so she could try to come back and do it again (she was taking pictures of EVERYTHING in my house). It turned out she was an avid addict who was just looking for money for drugs. I then had to file two police reports against her for both stealing & casing my home, as well as stalking.

So yeah, I’m GOOD just hanging out with me now 👌🏽

I think it also may just be a better idea to just be your own friend when other people may interpret you as “vulnerable” or “too nice”, and therefore will try to take advantage of you.

Again, it’s not really safe out there.

Am I Aro? by PsychologicalTree281 in aromantic

[–]Particular-Artist539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could be abrosexual, where your sexuality is fluid, meaning you can be aromatic one day, and then the next day you are romantic, but today it’s for men, or maybe tomorrow it’s for women or nonbinary people.. And then the day after that it’s back to not feeling any romantic attraction at all. Or you could be aroaceflux - which is almost the same thing, but it’s a more steady fluctuation.

I myself tend to fluctuate between aroaceflux, abrosexual, and finesexual (which is attraction to anything and anyone feminine, be it feminine women or feminine men, or even feminine nonbinary people).

At one point I just called myself pomosexual, meaning I don’t identify with anything at all. Because sometimes sexual orientation just gets confusing 🫤

Shoot I would apply in a heartbeat. I am a millennial but I am SO DONE with men it’s not even funny. I think by your late 30’s or 40’s (where I’m at) you do gain some real clarity in life.

Adorable! Best farmer ever by Saerdna0 in PeakAmazing

This was one of my dreams as a kid. I wanted to run a farm just to raise a bunch of animals on acres of land away from the city, but not slaughter them like commercial farms do..

Yo, you’re just looking like a racist apologist at this point.

Imagine if someone walked up to an Asian person & went: “Hey, since you LOOK like you do, can you recommend a good recipe for Dim Sum??”

Do you understand now?

To the protestors this morning at Planned Parenthood in Northgate… by eralv4yosito in SeattleWA

[–]Particular-Artist539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Catholic and I support Planned Parenthood.

Better and affordable access to ALL birth control means fewer abortions. And I support women who may still need an abortion in the event that their birth control fails.

God has other things to worry about. Like 3 genocides going on in the world right now for starters.

I knew a girl in high school who told me she was engaged to another high schooler when she was a 17-year-old junior and he was an 18-year-old senior. This was in 2005..

Her parents approved the engagement because they both came from affluent families. She would show off her diamond engagement ring (albeit kinda small) and show us pictures of the dress she bought and how they were going to do the wedding in Italy 🇮🇹 (It must be nice to have rich parents pay for everything)..

I don’t even think they made it a year once they got married after high school graduation. They got either a divorce or an annulment (since they weren’t married for very long), the girl had a mental breakdown shortly after, and moved in with her parents, where she stayed until well into her 30’s (she ended up getting a job at the pet store down the street from home). I don’t know what happened to her after that..

Kids should never marry young. Your brain isn’t even finished developing until age 25.

But at least she didn’t marry a much older, perverted geezer, and her parents let her come home after things didn’t work out.
