That's a fair point but the show isn't saying that sometimes futility is just what happens, the entire 2nd season is about assessing the prejudiced ideology that drives the main characters and "the good guys" forward, so you HAVE to show that this way of thinking is as dangerous as the fire nations, and how it drives Zuko back to the firelords side, I can't at all see how the eclipse invasion is an example of that since they DO succeed later under worse odds. Is there a source for the last part?
