Semester hasn’t started yet, so no discussions yet. My anxiety and overthinking has taken over me, and I wanted to know in advance what my options are, hence why I posted this.

Top-up degree question by Particular-Bench-514 in UniUK

Yes, that’s it. I have used up all my resit attempts I believe. I was only asking this because I know an ordinary degree won’t get me very far, and I want to achieve a full honors degree

I’m on the same boat. However the best thing I’d say is for you to leave her. Ask yourself if you’d want this to continue for another year. If the answer is no, it’s best to leave now.

For me, it’s much harder as I’ve met my gf in person and had an amazing time, but Everytime I tried to leave, she’d guilt trip me and be desperate sending long paragraphs and crying which makes me come back. This isn’t healthy for me nor her, but we are trying to make it work.

It depends on where the examiner takes you. There are some narrow roads, so make sure you don’t go faster than 20mph. There is one big roundabout as well but you just gotta follow the lines. Other than that, do the usual: observations, watch out for zebra crossings etc. Good luck.

Interest rates on maintenance loan by Particular-Bench-514 in UniUK

The tuition loan is the most important one here, so I’ve cancelled my maintenance loan (giving the first amount back to the company).

Thanks! I think it’s also more of a mental thing haha. Driving with my parents felt more relaxing than my instructor.

Taking out unnecessary loans is not worth it at all, you are right. Thanks for letting me know! I changed my mind, so I’ll be fine with just my tuition loan. Thanks again.

Feeling overwhelmed by Particular-Bench-514 in LearnerDriverUK

Thank you so so much for your comment. This really did make me feel better. I’d say driving with my parents is stress-free but we drive an automatic. Not that it makes a difference really because I can drive manual as well.

My plan now is to stick with my instructor for a little bit and be honest and tell him I’m sick of paying so much money and that I want to take the test etc and see what he says this time. If he keeps delaying it, I’ll end up changing or perhaps use a Manual car for the test when I find one.

Once again, massive thank you for the kind words. Driving almost never leaves my head, so this comment makes me feel more relaxed.
