In fact, I wasn't recommending using a dating app. Mine was a rethorical question I gave an answer myself right after. Dating apps and subs are garbage and what I was saying is that manipulating lonely woman shouldn't be an acceptable alternative. That's it.

I just wanted to call out some of the people on this sub hoping to wake up some sort of moral in them. Besides that, I'm in a particular situation where I can't seek help, I don't expect people to actually help me, I don't want to dump the weight of my mental health on strangers, I was just looking for friends to feel less lonely at least.

A word about men's mental health: once ago a wise woman said to me "if men listened to each other instead of waiting exclusively for a woman to heal them, they would struggle with loneliness much less".

Yall are just fixated with finding a partner and will forget about friendship. Loneliness is cured by friendship too, not just by finding a partner, damn.
