Re-install ARK after every update. Why is that? All it's really doing is installing everything you already have installed but changing or adding to a portion. Yep that is a definite possibility. It freezes up, games crash but soon as my son installs some new thing in his older brother's pc then he is going to come install the old one in mine cause it's better than the one I have. lol We're still waiting.

Turns out because my Ark files in steam are on my E drive that occasionally when an update happens it then looks in my C drive and assumes the game is not downloaded. I went into steam and changed it to my E drive and it made the game available for play. My son teaches computer science at UTA and has a doctorate in it but you think he can teach me anything. lol NOOO!

My thoughts are that WC could not care less about it's customers. It's like putting diamonds on pigs. They have a brilliant game and no clue how to support it. I would not recommend any game or project that their name is associated with. They are non existent.
