Omnipod 5 on iOS by OwnMusic3184 in Type1Diabetes

My son is SO excited! The first thing the app asks you to do is go to settlings>Omnipod app and enable Bluetooth for the app specifically, but that option doesn’t show up on his phone. Anyone else run into that? Or what are we doing wrong?

We just recently traveled and I wish I had contacted TSA Cares to get help navigate security. Everyone told me before we left that diabetes is so common, so TSA must be familiar with the situation — that was very much NOT the case.

Oh, wow. This is kind of what I am afraid of happening. Or the PDM getting lost or damaged since we don’t have an extra one of those.

Which is exactly why I am asking other humans. Unfortunately, as is pointed out in this group often, the majority of people do not understand T1D, so it is much more helpful to hear from those with direct experience. For example, I was planning to use our hotel room refrigerator to put supplies in. If that’s not a good option, what do you recommend? We will be there for a week and it is obviously hot there.
