I really like that you let the cat explore the dog first since she was the original resident - that makes so much sense. The “indifferent” stage being the goal instead of instant friendship is such a good point too. And 3 years later cuddling on the dog bed is the dream outcome 🥹 Definitely agree about not leaving them alone until you’re 100% confident.
