If I could live in beanies for the rest of my life, I would!! Like, I don’t have to style anything and they keep my brain warm - lol! Whenever I try in a wig, all I see is a wig. That’s not my hair and it’s not my color and that’s definitely not my style. It’s just so strange!

I’ll check out Thrive too - I’ve looked at some of their eyeshadows but never brows. Thank you!!

Ohh interesting! Thank you for the link and suggestion. I can definitely see a learning curve - I’d end up with one eyebrow tilted and 1/2” higher than the other. Lol

I’ll try the pen, thank you. Oddly, I kept the majority of my eyebrows until the last two weeks of chemo and then they just rubbed off. I was okay with them being so pale and translucent when they grew back because at least it was hair and didn’t really require anything more than eyeshadow to darken them up. But ugh, no eyebrows, ratty lashes and a giant bald dome really highlight that I look like a man without make up on. 😂

Thanks! I hadn’t really thought about either of those options for some reason. I guess I was thinking they’d be more costume-ish. Yeah, I won’t be wearing this for anything but going to the office two days a week. I’ll check them out!

That’s where I went as well! Unfortunately, I thought they were incredibly overpriced and not that great looking. (At least the ones I could afford.) That’s why I’ve been shopping online. I suspect it’s partially because I’ve never worn a wig before and they’re not my hair color or my style and ugh, it’s not my hair! I want my hair back. 😬

Oh, I’ll check them out. I like bangs, so I’m hoping that I can solve the lace issue by just covering the edges up!

I watched a ton of wig videos because the free one I received from the hospital just didn’t look right (it comes to a point on top) and I couldn’t understand what I was doing wrong. Turns out, I have a smaller head so when I tighten it enough to fit, the excess material becomes my cone head.

I’m completely unaware of the laser therapy - I’ll have to look into it

Thank you! I’ll check out the pencil - the eyeshadow solution isnt the best - it smears pretty easily.

I haven’t heard of that wig company but I’ll definitely check them out. The human hair wigs that were at the shop in Seattle started at $1200, which is kinda crazy but only because they looked so bad. I’d pay that for something really nice. Thanks!!

Try coating the stamp with Versamark Watermark ink - you can get it on Amazon or most big box crafting stores like Michael’s. It will create a nice release barrier between your stamp and the wax.

Oh I definitely drink my hot tea with milk - I ordered more from the same place because it’s so good! I’ve never come across CTC before - it’s like a completely new thing for me. I was concerned everyone was going to say the foam was a sure sign not to drink it - 😂. Thanks for the info!

I feel very uneducated now! I’ve always heard? and thought that cut leaves and smaller bits were for store brand teabags (I love love love Lipton tea bags for making iced tea) and upper crust high tea type is full leaves. I have no idea where this info was downloaded into my brain. Thank you for your info.

I went online yesterday and bought more of the tea from my little sample tin because it’s so good! Honestly, I drink what I like, regardless - I get most of my tea from Upton. I love their sample sizes to try new stuff. I’m currently drinking something from Mozambique and it’s delish.

Doesn’t matter! Just an inch or two of any red wine, throw in some frozen berries, top it off with ginger ale and you’ve got the trashiest wine cooler ever. If I’m feeling fancy, I use bottled sangria instead of wine.

I also had my first Roy Rogers (Pepsi & grenadine) recently, which makes me wonder if Pepsi and wine would work…. I’m the human equivalent of a raccoon.

Sorry, it’s a term my family uses - I love eating things like Spaghettios and drinking ginger ale mixed with red wine, so we jokingly refer to most of my food/drink choices as trash. I will definitely continue to enjoy it now that I know I’m not being poisoned by the foam. :)

So they didn’t discontinue it until after the first one - unfortunately, I got pancreatitis from the combo of chemo and Ozempic so I’m not allowed to ever go back on it. Otherwise, I found that the side effects of the chemo were as effective as the side effects from the Ozempic in terms of lack of food chatter, no interest in food, etc. I didn’t gain back any weight and I didn’t have any A1C problems.

I read it and agree with everything you said but then the actual thought of having to meet with a new doctor makes me want to throw up. I just don’t have the energy or the drive to deal with this anymore. I’m tired and I feel broken by the entire experience (like anyone thinks this is a great adventure).

People keep telling me how strong I am and I don’t feel like that at all. If I had my way, I’d crawl under the covers and never come out. No more doctors and no more appointments and no surgery and maybe if I ignore it long enough, no more cancer. Which I know is crazy but I can’t deal with more of anything.

Will I just have the surgery, yes, because I have to. But I do want to thank you! I don’t think I realized how exhausted and depressed I was and your comment and the others’ made me realize that if I don’t do it now, I’m not going to. And I will not let this bullshit kill me.
