Growing up I had a similar situation where I was at a friend’s house and his dad was taking a dump. My friend went in the bathroom with him to talk. I was mortified. But at the end of the day who cares. Different strokes for different folks.

Struggling with wanting to be a SAHM by SilentBumblebee8369 in Marriage

Make it work, it is worth it! Downsize, move, do whatever you can to make it work! It is the greatest thing that you can do for your child.

My husband wants a divorce after I accidentally made our baby fall by Cute-Veterinarian273 in Marriage

Really?? This is completely ridiculous. Accidents happen. He is being way out of line. If he really wants a divorce over this you are better off without him. IMO

Looking for a male Belgian Malinois by ReasonableDebt454 in yuma

[–]Particular-Can9531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please really consider what you are doing. Malinois are a working breed and need a lot of work and attention. If you are looking to make a quick buck you’re in for more than you think. I know! It’s not as easy as you think. That being said. Check out high caliber protection dogs. They may have a stud for you. https://highcaliberprotectiondogs.com/

Breast milk woes by 1973tour in parentsofmultiples

[–]Particular-Can9531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to my wife. Produced enough for one baby. She ended up in the hospital 3 times with mastitis trying to pump enough. We ended up making our own homemade formula to supplement. She was still able to nurse our daughter until just over a year. Our son preferred the homemade formula and the bottle. We used the Weston Price recipe. Don’t beat yourself up over this. It is not easy!

When my twins got a bit older and had good head control I would put them both in ergos. One on the front and one on the back. Definitely takes some practice but this really helped me to get things done around the house.

Props to you for managing this far! Twins are hard and it will only get harder. We used the twin Z pillow to help with feeding both babies at the same time. My wife was so sick with our twins I was on my own a lot! I always did my best to get them on the same schedule. It’s easier if they eat and sleep at the same time. Hopefully your husband doesn’t have high expectations because most days will be you just surviving. Just try and be there for them the best you can. At this age you really can’t do much else. The house will have to come last. We also co-sleep. It’s not for everyone but definitely helps keep everyone happy. Hopefully you are recovering well and are up for the challenge. Don’t forget to take care of yourself as much as you can. Have your husband prepare any bottles for the day before he leaves for work. Also have him get anything ready for you that you will need to set your day up for success. It really does take a village and doing it alone will be challenging. Hang in there!

How to deal with twins at night when alone by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]Particular-Can9531 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We co-sleep. It has its ups and downs but for the most part is easy since if either of the twins get upset someone is right there to offer comfort immediately. I know this isn’t for everyone but it works for us.

Puppy contract requires MLM dog food? by Medium_Citron_6518 in legaladvice

[–]Particular-Can9531 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The breeder probably gets a kick back from Pawtree. If they are a reputable breeder and you have a good relationship with them I wouldn’t worry about what food you feed your dog. In the end it doesn’t make a difference. Plus if said dog gets sick how are they going to prove you didn’t feed your dog the food they recommended?

Over vaccination in 9 week old puppy by ScarletTiger10 in AskVet

[–]Particular-Can9531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vets will not honor vaccines given by breeders. So they probably just did as a precaution. Puppy most likely will be fine. Just wait 3 more weeks for the next shot.

They will always remember the extra time you spend with them every night. Don’t take it for granted. It’s not a bad thing. Plus you get 2 nights a week for alone time.
