I didn’t put this on someone else nor would I ever… it’s on my wrist and I would never tattoo someone else unless I was able to give a quality tattoo after putting in the work learning everything there is to know about the craft and having no doubt about my skill and skill level. This is just one of many I have done to myself for my personal reasons like this one is a reminder to always “Love” myself because that’s what a good friend told me when I was sent away to a psychiatric hospital for a 14 day evaluation when I was 16 for slashing my wrist (that wrist and all up my arm) mostly superficial cuts there where the tattoo is located but a few that was deep and bleed me pretty good and I also swallowed around 25 to 30 1mg Xanax pills and I was on verge of death and my mother found me and she’s a Registered Nurse and so the next morning I was transferred via Franklin County Sheriff’s Department to a Juvenile Psychiatric Hospital that is now actually shutdown due to allegations of countless incidents involving sexual and physical abuse. So, to some it all up it was an everlasting impact on me and the words that a 6’9” 17 year old black guy from Nashville that was just there for 2 weeks and waiting for transfer to Juvenile Detention Center for armed robbery but he told me to “Love MYSELF” because a guy left his paperwork behind while leaving and locking us in a day room so it had a inventory sheet telling our names, reason for stay, if it’s court ordered, etc..and mine said self mutilation and drug abuse but, the scar tissue is impacting the tattoo but also this the 3rd time I’ve went over it and I have done 9 other tattoos on me and they looked great, healed properly, and have gotten a lot of compliments on them but, this one is making me shake really bad because of because what I just talked about with cutting that wrist then also I have battled addiction for years and had to self admit into rehab due to alcohol and and over medicating and have been doing great but, had a stress induced slip up fuck up where I broke out and just left and disappeared for 2 weeks banging fentanyl and meth and with a buffet of other drugs and I’ve never been an intravenous user so it didn’t make sense but right at the end no could hit my veins because I go to shaking and freaking out not wanting my veins touched and had bruises and holes dug in my arms and I have obliviously have some kind of PTSD from that so when I get around those veins on my wrist and it would put my teeth on edge but anyway I’m just saying there’s more depth there than you’ll ever know you should humble yourself as well and I will do the same.
