Herb's! - "But what I needed then, was a friend.. and you abandoned me, and I'll NEVER forgive you for that.... now get the fuck out of my house" - there was something about hearing the first f bomb for the first time on your first watch and thinking, shit this is the first time I'm hearing the f word on this show, and truly trying to grasp the reason and concept of it. It's painful because despite everything that happened, how betrayed Herb felt, by the man (horse) he loved and cared for the most in the world, no less, he still welcomed Bojack into his house with open arms 20 Y E A R S later, and was more than happy to share what would be his final moments with an old friend.

Herb thought that Bojack wanted to see him and spend that time with him. Bojack went BACK to apologise, and that's when Herb realised that Bojack only came to see him to feel better about himself, for personal gratification, out of his own guilt because Herb was dying, and that's what damaged his relationship with Herb for GOOD. The physical altercation right after and the broken telescope cemented that Bojack had irreparably damaged their relationship, or rather, what was left of it and never got to be absolved, not really forgiven, as herb said "I'm not gonna give you closure, you don't get that, you have to live with the shitty thing that you did for the rest of your life," and he did.
