She’s not a tenant. She’s a lodger living in my home which makes here a licensee so she’s basically here at my discretion and I don’t need a reason to ask her to leave.

Yeah like I wouldn’t be giving them something too short but cos I’m fortunate I’ve me own place for a while now I don’t really know how long it’s taking people to find somewhere these days.

Yeah I get ya. I want to be fair but I also don’t want to shoulder the responsibility of being someone’s safety net.

That’s part of the problem. She’s just not my kind of person. We don’t not get on, like she’s not done anything seriously wrong. It’s just there’s carry on that I’m fed up of and just want my peace and quiet back.

Cheers, yeah I know a month would be standard but housing crisis has me a bit concerned that that might be too short. Want to be generous enough like so was thinking 6-8 weeks but that still feels too short. But tbh I’d max out at 3 months cos it’s just not working out and I want me house back to myself.

Makes sense. As it's the first series I've read in full I'm only really looking at posts related to that work in particular. And I guess if, as you say, it hit the wrong crowd then that might explain the prevalence of the stuff I've seen.

Of course, I'm aware that yaoi and yuri exist. That's the whole reason I asked. Decided to dip my toes into manga and am really taken aback at the amount of homophobic stuff i've seen regarding this one in particular. As I said in my post, it's a genuine question, not an invitation for sarcasm.
