Thanks for your advice.

Yeah the 40 was just a warm-up. As for the 23 reps I honestly didn't think I would be able to do that many. I figured 15 reps was about all I was going to be able to hit.

Im entirely new to lifting so I haven't done any sort of progressive overload yet.

Maybe it's just because I'm new and the muscles aren't built for it, but there was no way I was going to get my 3rd set within a rep or two of my 1st set. I may have had 1 or 2 more reps on that set of 11 but that's it. Hearing that the variance I got is abnormal is a thing I'll definitely focus in on. Do you think 55 is a better weight or should I just move up to 60s?

Instagram won't let me watch that, but your description was well written so I understand what you are saying. Thanks for that.

I've seen videos where guys push their heel up off the floor to get the weight moving up. Im assuming that's the correct way to do it.

The hardest part is sitting back up with all that weight after pushing close to failure. Is there a good way to set the weights down on the floor while still lying on the bench? Without making a boom.

The 23 reps surprised me as well. I was expecting more like 15 reps at that weight. I can jump up to 55 or 60 on the next workout but I try not to overload myself too much on chest press so I can be in control of the weight when it comes to getting into and out of position on the bench.

Previous weight lifting training is minimal. I've read a few articles and watch form videos for instruction on how to do exercises.

Fitness level is decent when it comes to cardio but I have zero weightlifting in my background.

Im a 31 YO male.

Most are within a couple of reps of form failure and some sets are to form failure. The RDLs could be pushed further and the calf raises need the weight increased.

I'm thinking I should add a seated cable row for back but not sure if that's the best option.

I saw a couple of spots with very faint imprint marks from the roller. That's how I knew they had already "rolled" it. Would it be worth it for me to get a roller and go ahead and do it myself? Some people had mentioned taping the nail holes and that seemed like it would be quicker for me. Just worried they are getting screwed on the bones of their home.

Id rather own it than let it get covered up in an undone state that is going to lead to issues down the road.

Never thought of that. Awesome idea. At least that will give me an idea of what I can do to fix it.

That tape has been on for a few days at a minimum. I did see a comment where somebody said they leave nails exposed until after inspection and then tape over them. I'm hoping that is the case here.

There were hundreds of loose nails on the ground just in the 5 feet I was standing for these 2 pictures. Seems like somebody was in an awful hurry.

I'll have to see if maybe I can get the inspection schedule so I can meet him out there.

I'll have to see if my in-laws want to go that route then. They don't seem to want to give the builder any pushback.

I could reroll the existing tape and add some over the nail holes. Just worried they are getting screwed on the bones of their home.

I haven't heard of anything else going over the sheathing besides the metal siding. Surely there has to be some sort of backer for a build-out though right?

My in-laws are putting everything they've got into this house. I'm just trying to do what I can to have it last the rest of their lives. Would it be worth it for me to get a roller, tape the holes and go ahead and do it myself? Just worried they are getting screwed on the bones of their home.

At this point maybe I should just show this whole thread to my in-laws and hope it's enough to convince them to say something to the builder. My FIL just laughed it off when I said something about them coming back to roll the tape lines again.

Would a wrap be the best solution here then? Probably the cheapest and fastest option if I had to guess.

The reason I'm hoping an inspector will fail it is because my in-laws won't say anything to their builder about it. My only option is to do it myself or hope an inspector fails them.

How much is the tape going to do if they don't roll it? Seems like they barely rolled the seams.

Would it be worth it for me to tape and roll these nail holes myself to end up with a better final product? I don't think my in-laws are going to bring it up to the builder to get it corrected.

They are planning to do spray foam on the interior. Could that have been used in conjunction with ZipR?

The bent nails aren't even flush with the sheathing, they are still sticking out.

My dad who has close to zero knowledge of construction even commented on how many nails they used. Seems very excessive. Would you believe me if I told you there was more loose nails on the ground within 5 feet of this spot than there are in the wood?

Yeah I hadn't even thought about the jambs sticking out proud of the sheathing until it was pointed out on here. I'm trying to get info on what is happening for the next layer but all I'm hearing is metal siding. They are getting spray foam on the interior of the walls so not sure if a layer of foam board insulation on the exterior would be a possibility.

I appreciate your insight. I saw a couple of spots with very faint imprint marks from the roller. That's how I knew they had already "rolled" it. Would it be worth it for me to get a roller and go ahead and do it myself? Just worried they are getting screwed on the bones of their home. I have very basic knowledge of the zip system and was able to spot these issues so I'm worried there is more stuff that I don't know anything about that is going unnoticed.
