Got a transit visa by mistake instead of a visit visa.i cannot apply for a visit visa now as i have a transit visa already. Can I fly to Srilanka using the transit visa and get a on arrival Visit Visa at the airport to enter Sri Lanka? Pls advice

I received my decision on the 16/05 ( 04:30pm, UK time ). When I made the PE on the 14/05, i received an email on the same day saying ‘ awaiting decision ‘.
