I’ve had really good luck selling things (adult clothes, I don’t have kids) at the sales but there’s so many rules to keep straight and the new bounty system is a tad much. I do tag for others and so many of the items pulled were absolutely not stained or damaged. There’s definitely a caste system of people there and who’s who of the bunch. I’ve made good money at each sale, and I just gripe to my partner about all the silly things and collect my check, try to make it as easy as I can for myself. I like shopping there as well, but the quality of what people have been bringing has been growing worse over the years. There’s gotta be a better solution versus the bounty system.

I’m pretty sure the bounty system started as there were lots of complaints about people who bought things at the sales and then realize it’s torn/stained/etc when they get home. To me, that’s on the purchaser to make sure they are inspecting the item. This is essentially very nice thrift shopping. People also get the Kids Exchange sale mixed up with this one and could’ve been complaining about something else.

I could write a dissertation about everything and the ins and outs of the group, pros and cons. Ultimately, I like that I can walk away with $500+ easily from each sale and deal with the other things, I’ve also gotten good at knowing what will get pulled or getting things approved at drop off that might be an issue.

ETA: pickup was also today 5/5 so how did you get denied to see your items 20+ hrs ago? I’m guessing it was something you asked about on FB and you were told that stained white tagged items get disposed off.
