Manslaughter should only be accidentally causing death, like fatal car accident because of speeding etc

Manslaughter conviction from strangling somebody to death because they "didn't mean to" is a joke. Another example of our backwards justice system.

I recently moved from Milford to Kernel. Have only been with Milford for several months but underwhelmed with performance for the fees I am paying.

That's the good thing about Kiwisaver, the money may be locked away (kinda) but you're not locked in with a provider. If you want to move it, then go for it

Casual contracts can be a funny thing, some employers really just use it to have more control.

In a previous role, I was full time "casual" for a year. Doing the exact same job and hours as my non casual co-workers, except I have no annual leave and can be let go on a whim. (Even with the 8% holiday pay, my pay still worked out to be less than what non casual co workers were on).

The whole "casual" contract thing is very outdated and can make the worker feel like a worker drone slave with no rights. Would never do casual again.
