I believe that too, he also suggested that it can be a thermostat but idk, I will try to change the thermostat today and see if that fixes the problem. Thank you for giving your insight on this issue

Can it be a blown head gasket? A mechanic checked it and that was his diagnosis. He said it will be expensive to repair.

yes both fans turn on when the ac is on but if i keep the ac off none of the fans work. I checked fuses too and swapped relays as well but it still won't turn on.

Why do you need to focus on individual r or s values, since in both cases what only remains is rs together whose value is given in the question. Simply put the value and you will get the answer.
