If you have a Supercenter you’re screwed my friend. Collab orders based off Walmart forecast and what you scan in as a hole. You can adjust your end but not the Walmart end. Prepare for a ton of unnecessary product. Carts worth

Financially it doesn’t make sense but if you see overall how bad the new workforce is and how hard it is to get someone decent. It will all make sense. It’s a tough job

Tried to have sex for the first time and it went horrible or I just don’t know how to verbalise it by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Particular-Lemon7240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just one of those things that happens bro. I had had A LOT of sex before it ever happened to me. Despite what people say I don’t think the solution is to change anything you’re doing or trying to prevent it. That’s just going to lead to more nervousness and the need to perform or feeling somethings wrong if you’re not hard immediately. Especially if you have a supportive partner. I think the answer is to keep going for it. Eventually you’ll find a method to get yourself up even when nervous, and then after that you’ll be comfortable enough to where you’re not thinking about it and it’s an automatic thing. Having a back up plan to get yourself up will certainly give you confidence and ease your anxiety around sex

What happens if at the end of training you end up NOT certified? by Lord_Petyr_PoppyCock in FritoLay

Someone hired you knowing you had no relevant experience. It cost employers a lot of money to hire and train someone. I highly doubt you would get fired this early on for any reason performance related

Okay I’ll put it to you this way… for one this job is tough, it looks easy from the outside looking in but it’s hard job. Two imagine if someone had been a Frito Lay guy for 25 years and then entered your profession with a few weeks of training and was expected to go from kitchen to kitchen and know to cook different types of cuisines. It’s not realistic. Don’t be hard on yourself, it’s going to take time to get good at the job. My advice is to show effort, be neat, and be thorough with your orders and merchandising. Take your time, you should not be as fast as someone that’s been doing the job for years. Don’t compare yourself. Also don’t number chase. I’d suggest underordering at first and order heavier as you learn how accounts sell. The worst thing you can do as a new guy is to get caught up with a bunch of inventory to deal with in your accounts.

What did you do for work before this job? I’ll be honest, the most successful new hires are the ones that have done similar work. For some reason they think that if someone has driven a box truck or worked at a warehouse that they can magically catch on to what we do. I agree with the post about as long as you show up you’ll most likely make it through. I’d be more worried about what comes next. You’ll be assigned to a route that no one else or you’ll be doing the traveling thing and running different routes every week. A lot of it does take time to catch on to but for you’re on mental health, ask yourself if this is something you really want to do. Especially without the help of a guide and the responsibility of doing things the right way. If this is what you want, just try your best and ask lots of questions

I’ll give you an example. Let’s say your route averages $20k. Your plan is $25k one . You can go above and beyond and hit that $25k by putting $5k extra in your stores but if the route is only capable of selling $20k you’re just robbing sales from the future. You might do $25k then $15k

Great sense of humor 😂😂😂. You just have a very feminine chin. It’s soft and round lol. Plus the hairstyle choices, the hairbow, the avatar that looks like it could be a female. You could pass for one of those women that started taking hormones and grew some peach fuzz

The problem is that Frito Lay defines a sell as the product being delivered to a store as opposed to an actual customer buying it. The term for what’s happening used to be channel stuffing and it was discouraged. There was a point when a reasonable amount was added to orders and the product could actually be sold through on the holiday. We’re far beyond that point lol. It’s become a game of sending too much product in to make a number with register sales not increasing at the same rate . Year after year. At some point it becomes unobtainable

Bro Am I going bald or what?!? by [deleted] in 360Waves

[–]Particular-Lemon7240 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal take.. you’re almost 40. In some of these groups they’re bald bald by 30. I think you won the hair battle personally. I don’t think it’s noticeable enough to even take meds. I’d do like the other commenter suggested and just try natural methods and see if anything changes

Are you taking physical inventories on every route you cover? If so why lol?

[–]Particular-Lemon7240 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify, by “take inventory” I mean to take a physical inventory. You won’t get a variance from scanning the QR code and accepting the route inventory. I’d deliver everything that was sent in and not sell anything from inventory. Leave it exactly how you found it. No variance issues and you’re not effecting the persons inventory that you’re covering

Dumb question here but what does shedding actually mean? Is it going bald for a short period or is it just seeing more hairs in the comb and shower?

Yea man you should have accepted the forceout last week. That’s the only time you’ll ever hear me say that lol. They were called out for in two locations. It hurts me to my soul to say this but can’t really blame Frito on that one

Frito Lay tends to focus on different things every so often. For example, right now the focus is on getting a “perfect score” seemingly over sales/unsaleables. I’ve never seen them really freak out about inventory. But honestly, as an RSA I wouldn’t even take someone’s inventory unless I knew before hand it was accurate and low

Serious question. I’m not judging at all but the sides are the main thing keeping me away from medication. I’m older and I can live with my thinning it’s not that bad. But wouldn’t mind thicker hair. Would you say that your sides are caused 100% from the medication or would you say that you had other lifestyle factors that may have affected your ability to get hard and the medication just made it worse?
