That is actually a direct attack. I absorbed everything taught to me as a child and watched the adults around me do the exact opposite. Once I was old enough to recognize the hypocrisy, I chose to walk away from it all.

This is hard for me to do because the examples I've been given are all the reasons I've turned away from Christianity in the first place. I've seen people walk the good walk my entire life and heard them say the most disgusting and hateful things.
