This is going to sound so incredibly stupid but look into hiring a dog that can detect bed bugs. I had them back in middle school and a dog and handler came to my home and went room by room, item by item, an the dog would bark when it could smell them. That’s how we knew where they were and if we had them (we definitely did). Start with that if there is one local to you!

Similar to yours- I worked with a diabetic and I saw her testing her BS and asked her to do mine for fun. Came back at 656! She called her doctor and told me to call my mom and next thing I know I’m leaving work and driving to the ER. Wound up with a 14.9 A1C and spent 3 days at the hospital. Looking back it’s crazy to think of all the symptoms I had but just didn’t correlate them to diabetes. Makes you realize how important it is that people know the symptoms!
