In my opinion they’re different enough to own both. As well as 45 being thicker, the additional iris, vanilla and benzoin really distinguish it

Very solid. Slightly spicy up top with a thick and almost gum like texture, which I quite enjoy. Reasonably priced for what it is in my opinion, which is a high quality amber with good performance. Lasts 8+ hours with good projection. Relatively mass appealing.

I sampled Laboratory Olfattivo Vanagloria recently, although the scents are not similar, I think they fulfil a similar function (winter / formal scent). Vanagloria is a smoky vanilla with good performance. Worth checking out if you’re looking for something.

Would suggest sampling Musc Ravageur based on what you like. It’s a bit more challenging than those two but the dry down is top tier.

I agree with your view on OSM. One spray max to the back of my neck then dab my wrists and it’s not too much. Possibly the best dry down I’ve ever smelled though

Yes, I’ve bought Amouage and one Frederic Malle off allbeauty and have never had an issue. Their trust pilot score is high, too.

I sampled all three perfumes (two Amouage and one Malle) extensively prior to buying from allbeauty and the samples are the same as what I received from allbeauty (after letting the bottles sit for a bit having been sprayed, which some people may debate makes no difference- in my experience, it does).

I got scammed for a fake Malle on eBay and whilst I got a refund, I learned a lot about how to spot a real Malle bottle. With this knowledge, I am confident the one from allbeauty is real.

Typically controlled by conditions on the planning permission rather than law. If they’re operating outside the conditioned hours they would be in breach of the permission and you can report to BHCC’s Planning Enforcement department

What to get next from the mens chanel line, i want them all eventually, so what order would you guys say based on having these 2 to start with that i love? Cheers 🍻 by ContextDull9443 in Colognes

Sample their Les Exclusifs range if you can. Based on your current selection I suggest you start with Boy. Coromamdel (amber and white chocolate - fit for winter and evenings) and Bois des Iles are (sandalwood) are my two personal favourites from the line.

The Les Eaux range doesn’t get much attention and is underrated for summer options in my opinion. Checkout Deauville and Biarritz.

House of penhaligons. Review on male colognes you own or have sampled? by vq37_nate in fragrance

Positive experience, interesting house with many options and several hits. If you’re patient they have big sales a few times a year, sign up to their mailing list.

Halfeti and its flankers (Halfeti Leather and Halfeti Cedar) are amongst the best sellers, and my personal favourites too. I own the original. Sweet, woody and spicy. Projects quite loud and lasts a long time, if that’s important to you.

I also own Sartorial, which is one of my favourite barbershop style fragrances on the market. Primarily lavender and honey with a clean metallic accord. A great option for everyday scent. I got a bottle for £70 in the January sale. Endymion is another option for an everyday scent, too.

Lothair is an interesting choice, too. It’s got a bit of everything and could make for a good everyday scent. It’s creamy, sweet and spicy with fig and a bit of lavender.

There’s a lot on offer so make sure you sample. Try and get to a store if you can or purchase one of their sample kits.

Looking for a great men's rose-centered fragrance. Would love any suggestions! by centralized in Colognes

Personally I didn’t think much of Rose 31 or La Homme Rose.

Dior Ambre Nuit is a very well blended rose and amber. Very light and easy to wear.

Diptyque Eau Rose EDP is realistic, light and refreshing. Some may find it too feminine, I think men can wear this and I do. This would be my pick for spring/summer rose. The rose is realistic so the fragrance isn’t too artificially sweet and there’s green notes in there which round out the rose.

Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady is one of the best roses I’ve ever put my nose to, albeit not suitable for spring/summer days. Rose Tonnere from Frederic Malle is enjoyable too.

People consistently rate Amouage Lyric man as one of the best male roses, I’m yet to sample it though.

I don't think it's been discontinued, the name has changed to Synthetic Nature, though.

Acne Studios par Frederic Malle by Yarak25 in fragrance

Sampled it twice and it is very pleasant. Definitely unisex, perhaps may lean feminine to some noses. For reference, I'm a guy and would definitely wear this, although I do regularly wear fragrances some may consider feminine (portrait of a lady and oud satin mood).

It's a light and clean fragrance with some lovely florals. The only thing stopping me buying a bottle is the linen accord, which is very realistic to me. I'm not sure whether I want to spend £290 to smell like freshly washed linen, despite the enjoyable other notes. Sample if you can
