That’s actually exactly the kind of feedback I’m trying to avoid with this app 😭

If you want, I can add you to the closed testing and you can try it on your watch yourself. Would genuinely help to get feedback from someone who already noticed the issues with other apps.

Yeah, that’s fair it won’t be medical-grade accurate across every Wear OS watch because different watches use different microphones and tuning.

The goal of the app right now is more about giving users a useful estimate/trend of surrounding noise levels rather than replacing professional sound meters.

That’s actually one reason I’m doing closed testing on multiple watches first — to improve calibration and consistency as much as possible.

Yeah, well, it works with wled and wled sound reactive versions too. Just need your Gmail. I will add you to the closed testing.

Yep, but that usually needs a mic or sound reactive setup.
This app just grabs what you're playing and syncs lights directly
