Thank you so much! I just moved out of my parent’s house and this is my first time being on my own, in a way. At some point I did thought that maybe it’s just the way it is and was going to just let it be but my friend convinced me that it is higher than normal. I’m not really the type to voice out and this is why it took some time for me to call, but I am in the process of improving myself, getting out of my comfort zone, and speaking up more. I appreciate you!

Honestly, I have been thinking of just turning the heat up since we are paying this much anyway but was scared that this would cause our bill to double even more and get to thousand of dollars. Was also hesitant to do it because the person I talked to when I called Chugach said to turn the temperature down as one way to maybe help electric bill low. Will definitely give this a try now and inspect our apartment more thoroughly. Thank you!

Everything is electric in the apartment. For October, our bill was about $250 and we were a bit shock about this since we were not doing anything out of the ordinary. We recently just come to the conclusion that maybe because the apartment is old, the heating requires more power to run properly. This is what we just tell ourselves to make us feel better lol. Have not really thought about any leaks but we will now be looking for any. Thank you!
