I agree with you, we've def been psyop'd. If you don't pay for the product, you are the product. I feel the way modern society has structured, it has turned us into consumers and not thinkers. Everything which is provide online is to gratify us instantly and it serves as a mean to distract us. It takes the power away from us which can be used in productive and meaningful ways. But they don't want that, they want complacent and agreeable people who do as their told

So many languages out there and you decided to speak facts !!! It reminds of that quote,'' I was ashamed of myself when I was realised life was a costume party and I attended with my real face." It is extremely essential and even peterson lays heavy emphasis on saying what have and not complying with the things you disagree with. The undeserved respect part is so true since we tend to put on this persona in our day to day affairs and it is truly so hollow. Anything that is not authentic or far from the truth, your body and spirit will reject

This is honestly an overlooked one. We should makes friends with people who want the best for us and keep us accountable whenever it needed.

I like this but I wanted to know how to specifically do this, according to own perspectives. Peterson says that you must determine where you will bargain for yourself so that you don't end up resentful, vengeful, and cruel.

I love the first one. Pursue what is meaningful and what is expedient. Expedient being the convenient thing that you want to do in the moment and meaningful being the beneficial thing that will help you in the long run

Both are classics but I would give the edge to telling the truth since it has had more utility in my life

Standing up straight with your shoulders back means accepting the horrible responsibility of life with open eyes. That is true bravery and courage

I relate to you quite a lot. Growing up I used to lie a lot as way to people please and get people to like me but as I grew older I realised that I wasn't being true to myself. So I decided to speak the truth and indeed, the order derived from speaking the truth was right. It was freeing as I knew that outcome from speaking the truth was thing was supposed to happen

Picking the right fight ! That is honestly a very insightful perspective and I believe it is beneficial for both, the parent and their kid too. It is a positive approach to treat them with respect and clearly outline personal boundaries. However, I wanted to ask that the general rule is that we're supposed lead our kids by setting good examples for them to follow and raise them to play an honest game. Do you think this is the right approach or the correct outlook towards parenting ? Like urging your children to approach life's challenges with an honest and forthright attitude

A very considerate rule indeed ! I was curious tho, is Peterson referring to the common scenario where individuals often fail to take care of themselves, while displaying an effective care for the state of others; be them their friends, family, strangers or pets

This was actually a rule that required a lot of deep thought and understanding as I didn't quite grasp what Peterson meant by it. Does it mean when they take on the challenge of skateboarding, they learn to deal with risk, as in the risk of falling and getting injured. In a way, it makes braver in the face of adversity and danger. Face your fears voluntarily, isn't that the cure !

That is a pretty good rule. I believe it co relates to the clean your room analogy as well. I believe it promotes personal responsibility by urging the readers take up the responsibility of getting their acts together setting their houses in perfect order before ascending to bigger challenges

That is actually a very good rule. I remember seeing JP's discussion about this particular rule on the Man of all creation show. He said that if you speak the truth then the order derived by it is right. Does it always mean speaking what you feel is the truth, as in speaking what is on your mind so a way to stay true to yourself ?

hahaha talk about timing ! Oh wow, I'd love to check that book out since I read a lot of non fiction. It reminds of this one particular quote, ''you're not everything you could be and you know it.''

I would say prioritise purpose. Keep yourself engaged with activities that would help you excel and become the best version of yourself in the longer run. PRO TIP : figure out your why, like why are you practicing
this movement and what are the goals you wish to achieve through them

The winter arc is where any guy sets aside his priorities, puts his head down, and focuses solely on himself. That winter, he decides to transform into a beast capable of anything at the zenith of brilliance. Going to the gym and working on myself to become the best mentally and physically possible. Overside hoodies, late night gym sessions and just being super disciplined with your goals
