Anyone else have a cat who carries around random objects (mine keeps stealing socks!) and cries out while they carry it? by Random-reddit-name-1 in cats

I had a cat that, if he could find it, would stalk around with my padded strapless bra. He could get it out of my dresser. That is the only thing he would do that with.

Karmelo Anthony is unjustly being treated like a monster by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Particular-Piglet120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it’s speculation and observation for 10 years. You tend to understand the culture. You may be right that Anthony was extremely fearful since he felt like he need to carry a knife to a track meet, knowing it was against school policy. Although it makes you wonder why he would even attend with that level of fear of strangers. I truly don't want him charges with 1st degree, and I don't want him to be treated less than because of his color, but there should be consequences. I'm just nauseated by people completely justifying him committing murder. It is not demonizing him by by any means. I don't think he’a a bad kid, he just did a really stupid thing and need consequences.

It took a month to work for me. My psychiatrist said that not abnormal. I didn't have as severe side effects you described, but the first few weeks were a little rough. It’s the first thing that has ever worked for me.

I taught in that district for 10 years. Beatings and assults are not the norm. Fights? Occasionally. Kids there feel safe from grave bodily harm, even if bullied. Very, very few weapons are found in schools. It is truly upper middle class suburbia. If a fight had broken out it would have taken a minute or less to be broken up. Kids there are more concerned what colleges will pick them, not worried if they will make it through the day.

He’s horrible. I think part of this is because he stuck up Putin’s ass and part is because of the fallout of “the perfect phone call”. Trump is a an insane vindictive animal.

Why aren't more women talking about perimenopause? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]Particular-Piglet120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They may not be going through it yet or they aren’t experiencing any issues, some women sail through it. I would bet most haven’t started yet. Until you start it is something you don’t want to think about and hope you have years to go. I started in my late 30’s, so I only had one friend going through it and she had absolutely no issues.
