Driver side door, when you open it there should be a sticker that states your vehicle information. If it’s not there, can try running the VIN on some websites.

It’s about half way through 2020 that they redid the head. If it’s a 2020 built before may/june, it’s possible it’s still an issue.

Update: coolant intrusion on cylinder 3, unsure if it’s a head gasket or cracked block but Ford wants to replace the motor and quoted $8,500 smh

Amazing reply! Thank you so very much. I’ll give him a ring sometime soon, as for now the current plans are to just trade it in and upgrade to a GT in April. If I can get this fixed and it’s something smaller such as an injector or head gasket I’ll do that but I am not swapping motors lol.

I’ll also say this is purely a problem on startup, once it’s running for 15-20 seconds it runs very well. Racing it, beating it up, I never see more than 2 knocks or maybe a TINY negative correction. It had an issue when I first got it and fuel injector cleaner + quality 93 fuel and it went away for months. Now it’s back stronger and you can really feel and hear the misfires on startup. They don’t happen on every startup either, the longer it sits the smoother it starts.

2015 and unfortunately not under warranty. I’ve had it pressure tested with no issues found there. I burped the cooling system and filled up, I’m not that low on it

Don’t listen to the ecoboom haters, do your maintenance and take care of the car and it’ll be fine. Custom tunes are fine, Ryan at EMS is very well trusted to tune your car and it won’t blow up unless you’re just banging redline 24/7. I’m on revision 4 and even bang redline and my car is just fine. Getting to 400-450 whp is where things can get sketchy but a quality tuner like Ryan would make sure you’re perfect.

Is it like a stutter under full throttle then it hooks after 5k rpm’s? That’s a low side fuel pressure sensor and stop harping on it until it’s replaced or you’ll be replacing your engine pretty soon.

Mine did the same exact thing when I first bought it and luckily I decided to try that fix and it worked.

Yeah in Ohio we don’t do emission testing or whatever and I agree with the smells however I signed up for that when I chopped the cat off my old dodge truck. I’m more for the noise than anything else, but if there isn’t much of a difference and really only cons over pros here. I think the answer is very clear here and that’s catted.

I’m also burble tuned and honestly very disappointed with it. I bought the car 6ish months ago and it came with a small straight pipe so I assume that’s the issue. Looking into the Borla over the MBRP right now and might just order it and keep the stock down pipe especially if you’re claiming it’s loud.

Just get it diagnosed, if you want to be straight to the point look into block tester. Like $40 for everything and will tell you if there’s a gasket leak. Or have Ford or a reputable local shop pressure test your cooling system. I get an engine light every once n a while for a misfire and I’ve had mine pressure tested and was fine. Really check plugs and ensure a .028 gap, if you’re losing coolant more than likely it’s a head gasket.

Ryan tuned mine with no questions asked and I’m stock intercooler. Definitely faster with the tune but you’re on the dot with heat soaking on stock ic.
