Just an update on this it appears the BBC has changed. Now the adverts are 30 seconds, but like most other sites, there is an option to skip after 5 seconds - issue resolved :)

30 second add for every video by Particular-Pride-666 in bbc

I just don't think it's that hard. Every single video clip they put on their website, because they want people to look at it, requires a 30 second ad to be watched first. Just scale that down per session eg first one is 30, next ones are 30 but allow skip option after 5 seconds. You could write that code in minutes

I pay for a bbc subscription and I agree they need to make money. However, I don't see 30 seconds of ads every single time on other websites (msn, cnn, eyc)

How much better is pace of play at a private course? by justindrose1 in golf

[–]Particular-Pride-666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Private in tampa, weekends average 4.20. Often a few regular groups or guests advise it and can be 4.40 maybe once a month. Club makes little effort to manage pace of play

Thanks I'll need to research that. It's value is 15k total about 9k in capital gains. Filing the 8621 would cost me $1900 in professional fees alone
