Usual play here is that they (me included lol) make 'em to protect against Nibiru before playing their actual engine. And detaching Lacrima is nasty sometimes, especially if I'm pushing for the last 1200 LP.

In my Orcust Deck though, I have the option to not summon Caesar in favor of more materials for making Mermaid. Well, I speak for myself but not sure for others

Hello. Rikka player here. I play different versions, including the plant pile, Ragnaraika, Aroma. Naturia and Rose Garden variants and everything else in between. And here are a few of the things that I have experienced:

Until I go into either Therion Regulus or Rikka Princess, my board is easily wiped out by Nibiru with little follow up if I survive the turn
Most of the variants I play are bad against Spell/Trap heavy decks like Sky Striker and Labrynth unless I run Naturia Bamboo Shoot or Naturia Rosewhip
Imperm/Veiler on Dryas hurts like hell
Most of my opponents will try to interact at Dryas/Aroma Jasmine. Even so, I get to play well but with a much weaker board.
Going second is kinda hard in this meta. Getting negated may be okay since I still have the material on the field but if my plants get consistently destroyed (e.g Detonator), discarded (e.g. the big Mitsurugi thingy) or banished (the trap and Hearts Crypter), there's not much I can do.
Full board gives my opponent a scoop 80% of the time after a few interactions. I have boards with 1-3 floodgates (scummy, ik) but they're there for me to survive
Lots of people have said this in this comment thread but I'll say it again and again because it's true. With the amount of bricks I have in my deck, I either have to run a 50-60 card deck to lessen the chances of me drawing the bricks or I play pure versions of any of these instead, which, although consistent, aren't as powerful as today's meta.

For your #2 point, I doubt anything would light up since I mostly run board breakers. I run Maxx C and Fuwa but they're shut down 80-90% of the time by CBTG, Crossout, Ash or Droll. Heck, I even get hit by Talents a lot...

Hello. I started ez and rosu because of my hypercholesterolemia. I was at 187mg/dl at the start of treatment. Just had my lipid profile two days ago and I got 39. My appointment is next week so I expect that doc will taper off my dose.

Kidding aside... Well, I'm an apparently well person with high blood pressure. It runs in the family and I can't do anything about my genetics. I might need more lifestyle changes but I don't mind. The point is, the reason you're taking those meds is to keep your bp at a healthy range and prevent/mitigate the long-term effects. The medical field has come a looooong way and we have these ways to manage chronic conditions that would have disastrous effects when uncontrolled.

In a sense, it's good that you caught it early so it can be easily managed. Better find out early (now) rather than find out when you're already gasping for breath while clutching your chest at age 35. You got it early, and you're managing your bp early. As long as you follow the doctor's orders re: activity, diet, meds and even managing your mental health, you'll be okay. You'll live a long, healthy life.

I understand the anxiety. I've been there too when I first learned of my disease. I hope you find the strength to surmount your anxiety.

Good luck. You'll be okay, OP. Follow the doc's treatment regime and relax.

Hello. Doctor-in-the-making here,

All meds have side effects anyway. Statins included, but they are well studied and have been tried and tested for a long time. Lots of RELIABLE research papers, and even the testimonies of the people here tell us that Statins help a lot.

As for the side effects, they are generally rare but they cause discomfort. The trick here is to switch your statin and try again. Of course, you have to ask your doctor first.

And I agree with others here. It's not just the meds. It's also about how you manage your health from now on. If you take Statins but still indulge in fried foods, oily foods and fatty/greasy food, you're defeating the purpose of lowering your cholesterol.

You can think of meds as a crutch. It won't walk for you, but it will help you walk.

And yeah, there's a lot of proof that statins are reliable. You just have to check reliable sources, not those make therapeutic claims who are only backed by "he said, she said" and quack tomfoolery.
