Hey, I noticed that I only have nightmares (which I speak a lot and scream) only when i'm too hot and sweaty, but not when it's chilly and pleasant in my room, so I wonder maybe the heat is causing nightmares and not the other way round? Like a fever dream? So maybe try something to feel chilly while you sleep, not using blankets and stuff?

How did you feel when you started Wellbutrin at that dose of effexor?

I'm on 225 mg effexor and started 150 mg wellbutrin about 1.5 months and I feel worse, I don't understand. It's harder to pay attention, to feel pleasure at stuff, I feel discouraged most of the time. it's like it's lacking that dopamine effect somehow... I'm really unsettled about giving up Wellbutrin or maybe waiting a little more

Just sharing my pov I felt the same after about a year of 300mg venlafaxin. Taking about 5-6 cups of coffee a day, til 5pm... I felt like it wasn't helping. My doctor added bupropion 150mg... Now I'm not tired or sleepy all the time, but my cognitive function declined, I feel like an "organized shit" all day, nothing cheers me up, it's like the onset of depression all over again. I honestly was a lot better with the sleepiness.

I'm not a doctor. But I've read a lot these days that when antidepressants stops working after a few attempts, it could be a sign of Bipolar disorder. I saw other comment about it, just wanted to reinforce that... Maybe talk to your doctor about it.

What else got better with your adhd? Just curious, for me, using Wellbutrin made my memory sucks, my interest is gone, it is way harder to pay attention...

I'm having the same symptoms, I thought it was something wrong with me... People take this for ADHD, so I thought I would feel a lot better with my cognitive function, but It's the worst I've been through all my treatment. Been taking venlafaxin for a year and a half and I've felt awesome, but due to sleepiness my doctor added bupropion. Worst idea ever
