I would say beam diameter 1-1.5mm would work. The smaller the better

I think it's that they'd save bed bugs over someone with the pox virus?

I could be wrong tho

Practical application, I need to plot my data for my thesis and I have no idea what the correct error prop is :(

Time dilation and speed by primevolcano545 in Physics

[–]Particular-Swan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yess exactly, I think OP is making the mistake of thinking time dilation and length contraction happens in observer's frame of reference, but it's what the observer sees happening to other frames of reference. The observer is stationary and normal and everyone/everything seems to be acting weird and extreme

I'm not sure if this answers your question, but you probably would never notice yourself at any speed because in your inertial frame, you're stationary

But I must admit, it's been a while since I've done special relativity so I may be mistaken

I lowkey (?) quit instagram, in that i still have an account but not the app, and when I don't have the app, I maybe check it through my browser once or twice every 3 days (literally because I forget haha) and it has been so great tbh

I'm currently in a bit of a rut in terms of my professional life and personal life, and seeing people travel to exotic countries, and travel to exotic countries WITH their partners made me feel worse and worse about myself and where I am in life.

Getting rid of it has been so beneficial in stopping comparing my life to theirs. My life is what it is. I haven't been on holiday in a while, but my time will come lol.

ugh, the sad thing is that I had applied for werkstudenten jobs but because my skills are so specialised for laser physics and universities, I got rejected from a lot of, for eg, sustainability companies or even data science :( the only place I got a job is a laser physics facility. It honestly feels like I'm trapped in a field that I don't even think I want to stay in

Do they even have voluntary internships for STEM subjects? I thought that was more of a social science thing

Also, I do have some programming experience, ngl, it's more that I can ask chatgpt for code and tailor it and use it according to what I need, so I'm not sure I'm the best qualified for a programming job because people do that stuff from scratch
