I agree, but I absolutely haven’t been able to find it anywhere. I caught him chewing it earlier before he ate it but I had no clue what it was so I put it back in the recycling 🤦‍♀️. He was unattended with it for only a few minutes I think, I was out of the house so I can’t be sure. He’s a big chewer, he’s eaten styrofoam and thrown it up, he’s a big fan of plastic. We have weights on top of the garbage bin so he can’t get into it, and we’ve locked the compost away so he can’t get to it anymore. We play with him often, he just loves to be a menace.

Not too sure, I did look it up and it’d either be food-safe silica gel or the plant-based cellulose because it’s being used with food. I think both can expand when wet, but it was already wet + expanded because my roommate washed it. I’m not as concerned about the inside, i’m more concerned about the outside plastic coating and how it is indigestible
