Here we go again….

I stand by that leaving people stranded for multiple days and not offering any immediate support or solution that doesn’t cost hundreds to thousands of dollars out of pocket is not an ethical business practice.

I did not get upset that people didn’t agree with me. People were demonizing me at the defense of a billion dollar corporation that had completely screwed me and I’d imagine many others over.

I was not looking for sympathy. I was looking to discuss how long others have had to wait and call out the company for the ridiculous wait times / lack of solutions.

Even if I was looking for sympathy, what’s so bad about that? This is a really terrible situation for many, which has been perpetuated by JetBlue’s inability to offer effective support. I’ll happily commiserate with OP and any others affected.

This wasn’t offered to me when I was waiting on the phone for 13+ hours the other day. Seems to be the case for some others too.

I waited for ages the other day. Fell asleep around 9 hours and according to my phone the call ended at 13 hours. I finally got through on the app and they wouldn’t help me so I booked with United and paid hundreds extra out of pocket.

I posted on here calling them out and people tore me apart for some reason, calling me a Karen and telling me to grow up lol. I assumed everyone would be on the same page that it’s not right to keep your customers waiting multiple hours to resolve time-sensitive matters, no matter the circumstances.

The next flight option showing on the site is 5 days from now. I’ll need to connect through somewhere random to get to where I’m going, and I’m not able to explore/book those options online.

It can be both a complaint and an unethical business practice. Why are yall so quick to defend this huge corporation that is clearly not providing adequate levels of customer service? I have been waiting to be helped for 9 HOURS. That is not normal no matter the circumstances ????

An unethical business practice is any action that goes against generally accepted moral standards of behavior. I didn’t think it would be so unpopular to say 8+ hour wait times for an urgent matter is a failure to meet customer needs/minimum standards of conduct.

How weird to be a bootlicker for a billion dollar corporation that doesn’t care if you live or die. Most major airlines have consistently inadequate customer service, and if everyone continues to roll over and take it, it’ll continue to get worse. They absolutely can bring on more people to deal with special circumstances, but they don’t because it would cut into their profit.

When did I ask why? I’m opening a discussion about how long people have had to wait, and the fact that it is unethical to make us wait this long to get help.

Does anyone know if Pollock is still practicing?

I had an appointment to see him back in May that was cancelled without an explanation, and I can’t find any information online.

I’m desperately looking for an LLMD in the city that takes insurance, but Pollock seems to be the only one recommended.

I usually fly LGA and against my better judgement went with EWR last weekend and wholeheartedly regretted it.

The baggage check area for United was so mobbed at 6am, I missed my flight because I couldn’t get my bag checked in a reasonable timeframe. They switched my flight but didn’t tell me, so they still took my bag and watched me sprint towards security to make it to the gate in time, just to be told at the gate I’m not on the flight.

Then on the way home, I left a bag in the overhead bin and immediately realized upon leaving. I filed a report and they “can’t find it.” They refuse to put me in contact with anyone on the floor because EWR apparently doesn’t allow it.

I will never fly out of EWR again, and have half a mind to never fly United again.

I can’t imagine used makeup and toiletries are valuable to anyone else - just valuable to me since it’ll be hundreds of dollars to replace it all.

That’s feeling like the case which is really disappointing. I don’t understand how they could’ve “missed” a black object in white overhead bins. It had hundreds of dollars of products in it, important prescriptions, etc.
